Description

Makita DTW300: High-Performance 18V LXT Brushless Cordless 1/2" Impact Wrench

The Makita DTW300 is a compact yet exceptionally powerful 18V LXT Lithium-Ion cordless impact wrench, designed for a wide range of demanding fastening applications in construction, automotive, installation, and fabrication trades. Powered by Makita's efficient brushless motor, the DTW300 delivers impressive fastening and nut-busting torque while offering advanced control features for precise and productive work.

Features

  • Brushless Motor Technology: The heart of the DTW300 is its high-performance brushless motor. This provides increased power and efficiency, leading to longer runtime per battery charge, reduced maintenance requirements, and extended tool life compared to brushed motor equivalents.
  • High Fastening Torque (330 Nm): Delivers a formidable 330 Newton-meters (Nm) of maximum fastening torque, capable of driving a wide range of bolts and nuts securely.
  • Exceptional Nut-Busting Torque (580 Nm): Features a powerful 580 Nm of nut-busting (breakaway) torque, making it highly effective at loosening stubborn, overtightened, or corroded bolts and nuts.
  • Variable Speed Control by Trigger: Offers precise control over the speed, allowing the user to match the fastening force to the specific application and material.
  • Electronic 4-Stage Impact Power Selection: Provides four distinct impact power settings (Max, Hard, Medium, Soft), allowing users to optimize RPM and impacts per minute (IPM) for different bolt sizes (M10-M20 standard bolts, M10-M16 high-tensile bolts) and tightening requirements.
    • No-Load Speed (RPM): 0-1000 / 1800 / 2600 / 3200 min⁻¹
    • Impacts per Minute (IPM): 0-1800 / 2600 / 3400 / 4000 min⁻¹
  • Trigger Switch with "Full Speed Mode": A unique feature that allows the user to switch the variable speed mode to a "full speed mode" by simply pushing a button. In full-speed mode, the trigger travel is shorter, meaning full speed is reached faster, which can improve productivity, especially in repetitive tasks.
  • Auto-Stop System (Forward/Reverse): Features three forward and three reverse rotation auto-stop modes. These modes are designed to prevent over-tightening or accidental nut loss. For example, it can auto-stop when detecting the first impact blow for connecting scaffold elements, or stop approximately one second after the first impact blow for temporary attachments, offering increased efficiency and safety.
  • 1/2" Square Drive with Friction Ring & Hole: Equipped with a robust 1/2-inch square drive, which includes a friction ring for quick socket changes and a through-hole for a retaining pin, ensuring a secure connection between the tool and impact socket, critical when working overhead or at heights.
  • Integrated Twin LED Job Light: Bright dual LED lights illuminate the work area for enhanced visibility, particularly in low-light conditions.
  • Compact and Lightweight Design: At only 144mm long (tool body) and weighing between 1.2kg and 1.8kg (depending on battery), it is extremely compact and lightweight, providing excellent handling and reducing user fatigue, even in tight spaces.
  • Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™): Makita's XPT is engineered for improved dust and water resistance, protecting key internal components and enhancing the tool's durability and reliability in harsh job site conditions.
  • Electric Brake: Provides immediate stopping of rotation for increased user safety and efficiency.
  • Forward / Reverse Rotation: Allows for easy tightening and loosening of fasteners.
  • Belt Clip: A sturdy belt clip provides convenient temporary storage and accessibility.
  • Battery Protection System: Automatically shuts off power when the battery level is low to prevent over-discharge and prolong battery life.
