Description
1m Mini Mesh Panels for EVO1 Barriers: Enhanced Site Security
The EVO1 Mini Mesh Panel is a specialized steel extension designed to increase the vertical profile of the standard 1-metre EVO1 water-filled barrier. By adding these panels, you transform a low-level traffic separator into a more formidable pedestrian safety fence, reaching a total system height of approximately 1.1 meters.
Manufactured from high-grade, powder-coated steel, these panels are the industry-standard accessory for urban roadworks and construction sites where anti-climb protection and clear delineation are required.
Features
- Increased Safety Height: Extends the total height of the EVO1 barrier from 555mm to approximately 1080mm – 1115mm, meeting standard requirements for pedestrian handrails and site demarcation.
- Anti-Climb Design: The tight mesh aperture prevents easy climbing and reduces the risk of small objects passing through the barrier, making it safer for use near public footpaths.
- Rapid "Drop-In" Installation: No tools or specialized fixings are required. The panel legs simply slot directly into the pre-moulded holes on the top of the EVO1 barrier for immediate deployment.
- Chapter 8 Compliant: When used in the standard white finish with red/white barriers, the system provides high-contrast visibility that meets UK street work guidelines.
- Wind Resistant: Specifically designed to allow air to pass through the mesh, maintaining the barrier's stability. MIRA testing confirms the combined system can withstand wind speeds up to 55 mph.
- Durable Construction: Made from pre-galvanized steel with a weather-resistant white powder-coated finish to prevent rust and ensure a long service life across multiple projects.
Applications
- Urban Roadworks: Creating safe, high-visibility pedestrian corridors on busy city streets.
- Construction Site Perimeters: Boosting the security of low-level barriers to prevent unauthorized access.
- Event Management: Managing crowd flow and protecting equipment zones at public gatherings.
- Utility Repairs: Demarcating open trenches or work zones with a physical "handrail" height barrier.
