Description

EVO1 1MTR Water-Filled Barrier: The Compact Industry Standard

The EVO1 1-Metre Barrier is the UK’s most popular "separator" barrier, designed for rapid deployment and versatile site delineation. While the Novus is the "heavyweight" choice for high-security perimeters, the EVO1 is the agile, space-saving solution ideal for urban roadworks, pedestrian management, and low-level hazard identification.

Manufactured from high-quality, UV-stabilized MDPE, the EVO1 features a unique interlocking "hook and eye" design that creates a solid, gap-free wall to prevent unauthorized access or debris passage.

Features

  • MIRA Wind Tested: Proven to withstand wind speeds of up to 55 mph when filled, providing reliable stability in exposed or coastal environments.
  • Rapid Deployment: Weighing just 6.3kg to 8kg empty, a single worker can effortlessly position and link these barriers. Once filled, they become a sturdy 26kg to 28kg unit.
  • Space-Efficient Design: With a slim 400mm depth, it is perfectly suited for narrow city pavements or lane closures where space is at a premium.
  • Fully Stackable: Designed for high-density transport; up to 32 units per pallet, significantly reducing haulage costs and storage requirements.
  • Universal Compatibility: The EVO1 seamlessly interlocks with other models in the range (EVO80 and EVO1.5), allowing for variable-height configurations across a single run.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Available in high-contrast Red and White. Can be upgraded with Mini Mesh Hoarding or Reflective Post & Plank systems for added security and night-time safety

Applications

  • Pedestrian Segregation: Clearly define safe walkways on construction sites or during street repairs.
  • Low-Level Demarcation: Replace standard traffic cones with a more robust, continuous physical barrier.
  • Crowd Control: Manage queues at retail outlets, sports venues, or public events.
  • Forecourt Safety: Protect work zones in fuel stations, car parks, or loading bays.
