Description
Paslode IM350+ Lithium Gas Framing Nailer: The Industry Standard for First Fix Timber Fastening
The Paslode IM350+ Lithium Gas Framing Nailer is the latest evolution of the legendary IM350, a market-leading first-fix nail gun that has set the standard for timber-to-timber construction for decades. Combining Paslode's proven gas combustion technology with a high-performance Lithium-ion battery, the IM350+ delivers unparalleled power, reliability, and cordless freedom for professional framing applications.
Features
- Powerful Performance (82 Joules): Generates 82 Joules of impact energy, providing ample power to consistently drive 50mm to 90mm nails into the hardest timber, including engineered wood products.
- Cordless Gas & Battery System:
- Gas Fuel Cell: Utilizes Paslode's specifically designed gas fuel cells for the combustion power. Each fuel cell typically provides approximately 1,100 shots.
- Lithium-ion Battery (2.1Ah, 7.4V): The high-performing Li-ion battery offers exceptional runtime, delivering up to 9,000 shots per full charge, which equates to over 4 standard nail fuel packs. It also features a quick-charge capability, providing around 200 shots from just a 2-minute charge.
- Rapid Firing Rate: Capable of firing 2-3 nails per second, with a maximum cycle rate of up to 1,000 nails per hour (or 4,000 nails per day), ensuring high productivity.
- 34° Paper Strip Nail Compatibility: Designed to use 34° paper-collated clipped head or round head framing nails, ranging from 50mm to 90mm. These nails are available in various finishes (Bright, Galv-Plus®, Hot Dipped Galvanised, Stainless Steel) and shank types (Ring Shank, Smooth Shank, Uni-Lock) to suit different applications and service classes (Eurocode 5 compliance).
- Lightweight & Balanced Design (3.3 kg): At only 3.3 kg (with battery), the IM350+ is one of the lightest framing nailers on the market. Its excellent weight-to-balance ratio reduces user fatigue, especially during extended or overhead work.
- Ergonomic Rubberised Grip: Features a redesigned, non-slip rubberised handle for enhanced user comfort, control, and reduced strain.
- Tool-Free Depth Adjustment: A simple "pinch and slide" mechanism allows for quick and precise adjustment of nail driving depth, ensuring consistent, flush, or recessed finishes without the need for additional tools.
- Multi-Angled Teeth Nose Probe: The nose probe is equipped with additional teeth that "bite" into the timber, preventing the tool from sliding and ensuring positive nail placement and increased fixing accuracy.
- Last Nail Lock-Out System: A safety feature that stops the tool from firing when the magazine is empty (typically when 3-5 nails remain), preventing damage to the tool and the workpiece.
- Reversible Belt/Rafter Hook: A sturdy, integrated hook allows for convenient hanging of the tool on a belt or rafter, improving access and safety on the job site.
- Longer Fan Runtime: Improved fan cycle for enhanced tool cooling, preventing overheating during rapid, continuous firing.
- Easy Nail Loading: Redesigned nail lip and bypass follower facilitate quicker and easier loading of nail strips.
- Slip-Proof Head Cover: Allows the tool to be placed down on its head without slipping, improving stability.
- Robust Carry Case: Typically supplied in a high-impact, durable carry case for protection and transport, along with a Lithium battery, charger, safety glasses, Allen key, cleaning solution, and lubricant.
